Gastrostomy (Feeding Tubes)

Certain medical conditions and diseases can make swallowing food more difficult or even impossible for some patients. Instead of undergoing risky surgery with general anesthesia, we are able to place feeding tubes, utilizing moderate sedation, under fluoroscopic guidance. The procedure can be performed in approximately one hour and the patient will return home the same day. We are also able to easily replace or exchange feeding tubes after they have been placed.
